Dog Days of Dallas Metric Century Report:   July 11, 2010
Held on Sunday, July 11, 2010, the Dog Days Ride was a smooth success. It was a beautiful day with 104 riders. We enjoyed 34 Pizzas and some great home-made desserts. We appreciate the help we received from Choice Bottling, PortaJon, PaPa's Pizza, and several of our Scout Dads. Thanks to the City of Dallas, and Lincolnton Police Dept. for their support and use of their property. Most of all, thanks to the Gaston County Cyclists for contributing all of the proceeds to our Troop. Everything went very well, everyone had fun, and the generous donation goes a long way in supporting Troop 21 (of Myers Memorial, Gastonia, NC). We all look forward to doing this again next year.

Thanks, Tim Knight
