What: 62 mile bicycle ride with 46 mile option
Route: New for 2009, more rider friendly! The route has rolling terrain, but has eliminated the most difficult hills from 2008. The roads include many miles in Lincoln County, with beautiful views of the South Mountain range. The route has less turns than 2008, is better suited for group riding, but all normal caution still must be exercised by riders as the route is open to traffic and cycling has inherent dangers which cannot be eliminated.
Start Time: Mass Start: 8:00 a.m. (Registration: 7:00 a.m - 7:45 a.m.)
Start/Finish: 131 W Main St, Dallas NC 28034 (Courthouse Square Downtown Dallas, NC)

Cost: $20.00 non-members ($15.00 members)
fee includes Papa’s Pizza & drink after ride*, well-marked course,
and three well-stocked aid stations manned by the scouts of Troop 21 in Gastonia!
(*pizza & soft drink will be served from 10:45 a.m. until 1:30
p.m.)
Important Time Notes:
Course support ends at 1:00 p.m. All riders should complete their rides by 1:00
p.m.
Lunch ends at 1:30 p.m.
From Charlotte or Greenville (SC), take I85 to Gastonia. Take exit #17, Hwy 321 North. Go approximately 2 miles north and take the Dallas exit (Hwy 279). The Dallas Courthouse Square is approx. 1 mile on the right.
From south of Gastonia, take 321 North through Gastonia. Approx. 2 miles north of Gastonia take the Dallas exit (Hwy 279 East). The Dallas Courthouse Square is approx. 1 mile on the right.
From north of Gastonia, take 321 South. Approx. 11 miles south of Lincolnton take the Dallas exit (Hwy 279 East). The Dallas Courthouse Square is approx. 1 mile on the right.
